Who we are

Information you give us

We only collect what you choose to send. Depending on how you use the site, that may include:

• Contact and inquiry details. Your name, email address, phone number, business or venue name, and whatever you write in the message field when you submit a contact or distributor form.
• Order details. Your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and the items in your order when you buy equipment.
• Payment details.Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout. Cardinal never receives or stores your full card number, CVC, or expiration date.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server and security logs, which can include IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you visit. These logs are used to keep the site running, diagnose errors, and detect abuse. We do not build advertising profiles from them.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and follow up about the distributor program or a venue installation.
• To process, ship, and support the orders you place.
• To send information you specifically requested, such as the partner booklet or pricing details.
• To meet our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
• To protect the site against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to third-party marketers.

Service providers we share data with

We rely on a small number of vendors to run this business. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function, and each has its own privacy policy governing that data:

• Stripe processes payments and handles all card data.
• Jotform receives and stores the contact and distributor application forms embedded on this site.
• Vercel hosts the website and produces the server logs described above.
• Shipping carriers receive the name and address needed to deliver your equipment.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies

This site uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep your shopping cart intact between pages and to support secure checkout. Blocking cookies in your browser may prevent the cart or checkout from working correctly. Embedded third-party content, such as our forms and payment fields, may set its own cookies under the policies of those providers.

How long we keep information

Inquiry and form submissions are retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up. Order and transaction records are kept as long as required for tax, warranty, and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, subject to those obligations.

Your choices

• You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
• You can ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• You can ask us to delete your information, except where we must retain it for legal or accounting reasons.
• You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.

Send any of these requests to support@cardinalcharging.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Residents of some states and countries have additional rights under local law; we honor those rights where they apply.

Security

The site is served over encrypted connections, and payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.

Children

This site is intended for business and adult use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to active customers where practical.
